Isah — a name that means “salvation of the Lord” — is more than a figure in my work. He is a vessel, a witness, and a question.
He exists at the intersection of past and future, presence and absence. Inspired by the monastic men of Lalibela, Ethiopia—keepers of silence, memory, and sacred history—Isah carries a quiet weight. Draped in garments that echo African tradition, he does not announce himself. He observes. He remembers.
In my world, that presence is reimagined.
Isah walks through spaces he was never meant to occupy—modern cities, digital environments, fragmented realities. He sits in stillness while everything around him moves. He does not react to the noise. He absorbs it.
He is not the hero. He is not just an observer.He is a witness.

His name speaks of salvation, yet he carries more questions than answers.
He stands in places that do not remember him, yet everywhere he goes—he is undeniable

Isah is the embodiment of my artistic language:
Noise is reality — the chaos, the clutter, the imperfection of lived experience
Darkness as presence — not emptiness, but depth, memory, and cultural density
Signs of transition — glitch, distortion, movement between worlds
Past and future in dialogue — tradition reinterpreted through digital form
Culture as foundation — not aesthetic, but structure
He exists within environments that feel both real and unreal—hyper-real textures, game-like spaces, warped light. These are not just visual choices; they reflect the instability of identity and memory in a rapidly shifting world.
The Politics of Stillness
In a time where culture is constantly consumed, reshaped, and diluted, Isah resists.
He does not perform.He does not explain himself.
Like the figures that inspired him, his power lies in stillness.
To witness—to remain present without distortion—is a form of preservation.
His silence challenges the noise around him.
